Vision Coverage

The current coverage period is from Sept. 1, 2024 – Aug. 31, 2025.

Please note that receipts for eyeglasses or contact lenses must include the prescribed strength, or provide the detailed prescription.

Maximum of $750 per insured person per coverage period for all dental care.*

Reimbursements are based on the fees indicated in Dental Association Fee Guide for General Practitioners of the province in which the services are provided (these fees are suggested to general practitioners, not specialists).

Orthodontic treatments are not covered.

When the total cost of any proposed dental treatment is expected to meet or exceed $500, a treatment plan (obtained from your dentist) must be submitted to Desjardins Insurance for approval.

Eye Exam

Payable amount of $50 per insured person per coverage period, including eye refraction.

Eyeglasses and Contact lenses

Payable amount of $75 per insured person once in any 24-month period, including replacement costs.

Eyeglasses after a Cataract Surgery

Purchase of one pair, up to a payable amount of $200 per insured person per surgery.
