Important: Keep copies of your receipts in case you’re asked to send them in. Your claims can be audited anytime in the 12 months after you submit them. You’ll also need them for your taxes.
Before claiming, create a profile on mybluecross and enter your information. If you need help, see the step-by-step instructions for creating your account. Once your profile is created, you’ll be able to track all your submitted claims.
Make sure you’re registered for direct deposit so you can have your refund deposited directly into your bank account. You must be registered for direct deposit to submit claims online or through the app.
All claims must be received by Manitoba Blue Cross no later than 90 days after the end of the policy year in which the claims were incurred or 90 days after the end of your coverage. Whichever date is sooner will apply. Full-year coverage ends on Aug. 31, 2025.

1. Present your Pay-Direct Card to pharmacists, dentists, and a number of other health professionals for immediate reimbursement (you won’t have to pay the full amount of your bill up front).
2. Your claim will be processed according to your plan's coverage. You will be informed of the amount to be paid, if any, and the portion covered by the insurer.
Note: you can download your direct payment card in several ways, such as on Pay-Direct Card page or on the mb.bluecross.ca.
Submit your claims through the mobile app, available on the App Store and on Google Play.
1. Sign in to your account through the app. If you haven't registered yet, you will have to register through the Manitoba Blue Cross online portal.
2. Once you have logged in, click on Submit +.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and click Submit.
4. You will get an on-screen message to say your claim is being processed.
1. Visit mb.bluecross.ca and click mybluecross on the top-right side of the page. From the dropdown, select “Member login” to log into your mybluecross account. If you do not have an existing mybluecross account, please register using the assigned numbers on your Manitoba Blue Cross ID card.
2. On the left sidebar, under Claims, select Submit a claim.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen and review the information entered for the claim. After reading the Authorization & Consent terms, click the check box, and then click Submit Claim. If you are required to upload receipts or supporting documents, you will need to click the Authorization & Consent check box a second time before submitting.

1. Download the appropriate Claim Form and fill out the required information.
2. Sign and date the form and attach the required documentation, including receipts.
3. Mail to Manitoba Blue Cross at PO Box 1046 Stn Main, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2X7 OR Drop it in person into the secure 24-hour claim box outside our building at 599 Empress Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba
